Good morning!
Lavish.
Living the life hoor.
The second installment of Vic Crezée’sR. kelly mixtape saga is an instant classic. Over 2.5 hours (!!) of Kells party bangers. I can’t say there is anything wrong with that. First mixtape over here, tracklist in the comments. It’s gonna be a party y’all!
Cut Chemist: former Jurassic 5 member, beatmaker and a bit nerdy guy with some sickening skills on the wheels of steel and the musical knowledge to keep spinning forever.
The guy made these two mixtapes for, actually I don’t know for what and don’t really care. I do know I likes the concept behind the tapes and the awesomely solid they’re mixed together. I don’t have tracklists but the tapes titles speak for themselves really.
Disco is Dead. Disco music from 1973 – 1978 all night long. That music your dad played when you was a kid but with a better selection and without the 5 minute outro’s.
Hip hop lives! All 1985 – 1996 everything. You know this, if else get skooled fool!
I wanted to take this moment to thank Carlos Nunez for his beautiful blog and photography. I don’t know how the guy does it but I somewhat think he captures his models inner beauty through their hot, wet and naked bodies. Nudity times personality. Kinda what Terry does, but more subtle.
Talking about beautiful things, here are my favorite tracks from the last couple weeks or so. Braaaaaaaaaaaap!

Modern Witch – Not The Only One
Girls – Broken Dreams Club
Hype Williams – Blue Dream
Zoo Kid – Out Getting Ribs
MellowHype – Chordaroy ft. Earl Sweatshirt
Doctor Dru & Adana Twins – Juicy Fruit
Tom Tom Club – Genius Of Love (Senor Coconut remix)
Tyson – Die On The Dancefloor
M.I.A – GEN-N-E-Y
POPO – Let’s Get Away Kanye West – Eyes Closed
Lil Wayne – 6’7″ ft. Cory Gunz
DJ Trouble – Bangs & Works
Gorillaz – Crystalised (the XX cover)
Known for the bizarre but beautiful Ecstasy JJ is one of the weirdest yet most promising new groups of the last couple or so. The Swedish duo consist of a producer dude (left on the picture) and Elin Kastlander who’s on vocals.
Their hipsterish but effective trademark is to take instrumentals filthy rap and R&B songs and put them through some crazy filters to eventually lay sweet lady vocals on ‘em. All those songs you love with an all authentic indie-band vibe to it. HRO x Nah Right, Snoop x The XX, or something like that.
Baring with a little champagne headache my man Blokhut just dropped a bomb on me. Duuuude.
This is Dipset producers like Araabmuzik, Max Dollar$ and Movem3nt doing a beattape wiv just Trance samples (we call this Dance on this side of the ocean right?). Think Better Of Alone, No Good and Go To Hell with heavy drums and infinite claps. Never had such mixed feelings about a tape but on a second go I’d probably like the fuck out of this. Ridiculous!
